20
In your twenties – “Your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. It’s a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. Be selfish with your time, all aspects of you. Tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little and never touch the ground” – Kyoko Escamilla.

Is The Bershka Nail Polish Worth Its Price ?
When it comes to nail polishes I'm very picky where do I get them from, I buy most of them from brands I've trusted for years but as I were scrolling down through the Bershka website and saw they got a new 'beauty' section over on their page I decided on to have a look and spotted they had make up and nail polishes, again, I barely sport dark colors but this time, this red color I had to try it, I immediately headed to the store, okay not really, but when I had the chance to go to, and bought myself this.

Sangre Toro
I'm not a huge fan of sporting dark colours on my nails but when I do, you'll see me rocking the 'Sangre Toro', a rich blood red just like its name (Sangre) with a slight bit of magenta hue, making my hands look a lot more pale. Growing up seeing my mom sport this colour, made me love it too and I get to sporadically get my nails done in this shade of red.

It
Despite of its pink cover which I love, I’m in love with the pictures that some I have already seen on Pinterest and have been pinned onto my inspiration board, also there are some cute illustrations inside of it, great to get inspired by.

Summer
Summer is already here and seems like I'm not enjoying it at all even though I'm in 'holidays'. The weather is still driving me oh, so-crazy and it's making me sick, I usually never complain about my hometown's weather but it's really been hot lately and I can't stand it no more. Besides of that, any time I open one of the drawers from my dressing table all my pretty bikinis yell at me and ask me 'When are you going to wear us?', seriously, I need some sun, sand, beach & a bit of tan on my skin as well.

Life as a Roller Coaster
That's how I would describe how life has been like to me as of lately. It's been yet it still is so hard to me to tell my deepest thoughts, emotions and secrets but I'll try my best as I write this blog post. . .

Summertime Sadness
Old snapshots taken back in 2011 in Santa Marta which reminds me of one of my favorites destinations as well as the best vacations I've ever had and that has to be how peaceful that place it was (is) during my stay in the Decameron Galeon Hotel, I would wake up by 6am and have a walk to the beach and enjoy either a beautiful sunrise or sunset, and between my toes can always fix me up just right. Hope to be there back soon again.

Weekend Reading
I rarely buy or read online, but I purchased this magazine the other day, I was having a look to all the magazines (in English and in Spanish) at the book store and you know what they all had in common (¿?) Yes, a bunch of ads. Ads on the first 60(?!) pages, I mean, it was ad after ad after ad. I was flipping through the pages to finally find an article. Boring stuff, yet different front printed magazines, online magazines can be much easier to catch up with due to they're updated every time and so you can find it on twitter, instagram, facebook, etc. Anyhow, I loved this one so much (the cover just caught my eye), it has so many beautiful things to get inspired by, and many things to read and it doesn't have that many ads at all. SCORE! Now, every time I have some time off, I flip through its pages and it kinds of feels relaxing and perhaps a bit of therapeutic. Maybe, I can buy a new one some day again. Which one do you prefer, online or print magazines?
Some links for you to read. . .

Paris Sketchbook
No idea when my love affair with Paris started but since a couple of years I've been a loyal lover of that beautiful place and because of it, I've been also a serious collector of Paris books, no matter what kind of book it is, what it is about, if it does have the Paris word on its cover or the story took place in Paris, then let me tell you I wouldn't even think twice in purchasing it, that's how I ended up getting this book on my hands, it's the latest addition to my smallish collection. I'm a huge fan of illustrations as well, and these ones from Jason Brooks are amazing.

Mamb
I rarely do share of places I go to here on the blog, but sometimes it's good to share and show people what it's like in your hometown and there's always a first time. I was born, raised and still living somewhere in Colombia, my hometown is recognised because of its carnivals that happen every single year, (yes, I'm from B/quilla). During my almost 20 years of being here, I've never had the chance to go to a museum, okay, sometimes I even joke about it that I'm from here but at the same time I know nothing about my own city/hometown. Anyway, I went once to an exhibition that was held at where I used to take my English classes but that wasn't actually a museum but still got to enhoy that one with the few pieces that were there.
I came here with around +30 people who study also Fashion Design, and we came with our teacher, the place is actually pretty small yet so simple, I didn't understand much but I guess that's what art really is about, you try to understand what the artist wanted to capture and what feeling wanted to evoke. This visit was mainly for a project, but I would love to come back one day as well, and maybe if you ever come here and you're oh, so-interested, come visit this museum.

Mia Ballerina
New in: It's every now and then I barely purchase flats, I'm more like a sandals-type girl instead of a tennis or flats one, but besides of these ones which I got a very long time ago, these really caught my attention yesterday and it truly was love at first sight, maybe it was due to that pointed flat or nude colour that matches my skin or maybe because of the name of this brand "Mia Ballerina" which makes me feel like a real ballerina. So, since I haven't used flats for years I have an issue now which is: before going out with these new babies I'll spend it at home wearing them until I get used to them and that means wearing band-aids non-stop!

Paris vs. New York
Oh la la, I think I have been obsessed with Paris ever since I was a petite fille, in fact I always dreamt of moving there one day… I’ve been wanting to pick up this book for such a long time now, ever since I stumbled over the authours blog! Here you can find all the little differences between two of my favourite cities: Paris and New York. I thought it would be fun to share with you this book and take a peek into inside of "Paris vs NYC" by Vahram Muratyan…How awesome and spot on are they?

Let's Talk: Nails
My hands and nails have always been one of the parts of my body I love and have considered so important. I don't remember when I first started painting my nails but have ever since liked to do so. I can clearly remember "borrowing" my grandma's nail polishes.

Weekend Reading
This week was undoudtedly my "last week" of holidays after having taken almost (literally) two gap years, I'll start University oh, so-soon (tomorrow) and have tried to enjoy the most these last days, staying at home and doing nothing as usual and catching up with news and reading blogs. Every once in a while (on week-ends) I'll share with you some links of interesting reads, recipes and everything I find around the net. . .

Follow Your Heart
Follow your heart ♡: Ever since I was a kid I’ve always thought that we all come here to this world with a big purpose, and since then I’ve always thought that this purpose has to do something with our dreams. We all grow up with the idea of doing so many things but we most of the time are worried about the “what they will say or think" thing, because of this that’s why most of our dreams are stored awaiting for us to take the plunge and give the first step. We become silence of our own thoughts and we care mostly about what others think and forget about us in the first place. . .
